Yes, we are pet friendly up to two dogs or either 1 cat! We have a fee of $75 for 1 dog, $100 for 2 dogs, and $75 for 1 cat. Please be mindful of the space with your pets. No accidents inside and please be mindful of outdoor temperatures before you decide to leave them behind while you shop/eat.

Are your vans pet friendly?

Can I go off grid?

Yep! Our vans have 360+ watts of solar and alternator charging, so you are able to re-charge your power system without the power grid.


Is there flexibility for pick up and drop off?

Drop off time is between 10am-12pm and pick up is after 3pm. Please do not drop off before 10am and please do not pick up after 5pm. We use the time between for prepping and sanitizing for the next guest.


Insurance is automatically added to your reservation on a per night basis. The amount is $30 per night that you are renting! You will have the option of adding roadside assistance and SLI if you'd like. If you would like this addition, you can click the link below to purchase this separately.

What about insurance?


Can I go off-road?

No, they cannot go off-road. Please stay on well maintained roads, packed down roads, or paved. Two tracks and roads that are not made for daily use are strictly prohibited. There are plenty of off-grid, enjoyable places to camp that do not require going down a poorly maintained road.


What type of fuel are the vans?

Eddie and Watson are regular gas. North is diesel.

Do I have to fill up the tank before drop off?

Yes! It is a requirement for you to fill up the gas tank before you drop the van back off. Failure to fill up will cost you additional fees.

Can I go out of Michigan?

Where can I park my car during the rental period?

You can park your vehicle at our location for no additional cost. We have security cameras on our parking area.


What are the minimum and maximum rental periods?

The minimum is 2 nights and no maximum.

What if I need to change my dates?

If you need to change your dates, there will be a $30 fee if there is 30 days or more before your trip begins.

If it's less than 30 days before your trip begins, the fee will be $75.


What's the minimum age required to rent?

You must be 25 years or older to rent.

How many miles can I go in a day?

You are allowed 150 miles per day and then it will be $.35 per mile after that.


What happens if I get into an accident?

Get to a safe place and call the police. Exchange insurance Information with the 3rd party and take lots of pictures. Once everything has calmed down, please give us a call and explain what happened. We will do our best to help however we can to get you safely back on your trip.


Do they have heat and AC?

They all have built in heat, but only Watson has an AC unit.


All reservations can be instantly booked online! 50% of the reservation total is due to secure your dates, with the remaining 50% due 20 days before the trip. You must pay the remainder within 24 hours of receiving the balance due e-mail.

How does payment work?


What is the cancellation policy?

Once your booking is confirmed, you can cancel within 48 hours for a full refund minus a Square service fee, as long as at least 20 days remain before departure. Otherwise, the cancellation policy is strict.

If you cancel more than 20 days before your trip begins: 50% of the booking total is refundable (you pay 50%)

Cancel 19 or fewer days before your trip begins: 0% of the booking total is refundable (you pay 100%)

The Square fees that we incur for processing the payment and then refunding for a cancellation are NOT refundable in any situation.

We have a $1,500 security deposit that you will authorize us to charge at pick up. Your credit card will not be charged if the vans are returned healthy and free of damage

Will you be there for my pick up or drop off?

Most of the time, Yes! We try to be here for all pick ups and drop offs, but there will be times when we have our own schedule to tend to. If that is the case, we will communicate that with you and have all paperwork in the van for you to sign and place in the drop box.
